Hal Haller grew up in Miami, Florida.  He received Christ at 13 years of age.  He has studied at two colleges, three seminaries, and two graduate schools.  The highest degree was a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Master of Librarianship from Emory University where he also served an assistantship at the Pitts Theological Library at the Candler School of Theology.  He has served as a youth minister, pastor, Bible conference speaker, Christian school teacher, board member and principal, college academic dean, and college and seminary teacher.  He has held membership in the Evangelical Theological Society and Association of Christian Librarians.  He joined the Luther Rice faculty in 2000.
