Graduate Certificate in Biblical Studies
The Graduate Certificate in Biblical Studies is designed to ground you deeply in the Word of God and equip you for faithful service to Christ in a variety of ministry contexts. Centered on biblical interpretation and theological reflection, this certificate prepares students to handle Scripture accurately and apply its truths with discernment and wisdom.
If you are hesitant to return to graduate-level education because of time or financial concerns, this 3-course (9 credit hr) certificate provides a focused, accessible pathway into advanced biblical study. All coursework completed may be applied toward select master’s degree programs at Luther Rice, including the MA in Christian Studies and the Master of Divinity (MDIV).

Each course is 3 credit hours and the costs for the Graduate Certificate in Biblical Studies are below:
- Tuition per credit hour: $391
- Technology Fee per course: $190
- Total cost of a course: $1,363
Total Cost of a Graduate Certificate: $4,089
Prior credit-bearing work completed at Luther Rice and/or other institutions cannot be transferred into the Graduate Certificate Program.
