Alisha Blevins grew up locally, attending Christian school and church during her early years, where she was taught the Bible as the Word of God.  After graduating at the top of her class, she was accepted into the Honors Program at Clayton State University. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Georgia and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005.  She then moved on to earn a Master of Library and Information Science degree from Valdosta State University in 2010.

Blevins has served libraries for the past nine years—the majority of those years as a research librarian. She has a strong interest in theology, ministry, and Bible study; and she has served her church in the areas of social media, website development, adult Bible study, vacation Bible school, youth ministry, and volunteer work for special events.
