Dr. Coleman grew up in Winston-Salem, NC. At age five he trusted Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior and surrendered to a call to ministry at age 15. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Wingate College (now University) in Wingate, NC, he begin his pastoral ministry. He completed a Master of Divinity with Languages degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He went on to earn a Doctor of Ministry degree in Expository Preaching from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Coleman has been a full-time pastor for over 23 years and has led over 25 mission trips. He is passionate about preaching, missions, and investing in other pastors/church leaders. He joined Luther Rice as an adjunct professor in 2013.
