Despite being raised in Alabama and the Bible belt, Steven Knox did not attend many church services. In 1992 Knox was invited to a local Baptist church where several of his friends attended. Sensing the draw of the Holy Spirit during a Wednesday night service, Knox gave his heart to Christ on April 29, 1992. In May of 1994 the call to preach was so powerful rest nor peace was to be found in his life. On May 29 of 1994 Knox preached his first sermon! God opened the door for service as associate pastor of his home church and later as senior pastor of two other churches that grew both spiritually and numerically over the next 15 years. Knox earned a BABS from Southern California University and Seminary, a MAL from Luther Rice and PhD from Capella University in Public Service Leadership with a Multidisciplinary in Human Resources. Knox has served as Teaching Assistant for both Capella and Luther Rice. While owning two businesses in the construction trade, Knox also serves as the Serve Out Pastor of Enon Baptist Church in Morris Alabama where his main responsibilities include coordinating Disaster Relief Training and efforts for the local Association and Alabama State Missions Board.
