Born and raised in Southern California, I recognized my need to ask Jesus into my heart when I was about 6.  Teen years arrived; spiritual rebellion arrived.  Finally, as a 5th-year senior, I resubmitted my life to follow after the Triune God.

In my teen years, I thought it would be interesting to be a psychologist, a goal I pursued and accomplished in 1980.  I have been a state-licensed psychologist since 1980 in Georgia and then Florida since 1982.

What brought me to Florida was an opportunity to teach at Luther Rice Seminary when they were in Jacksonville.  I was a Professor of Biblical Counseling until Luther Rice College and Seminary to Atlanta, and I stayed behind with my practice in Jacksonville.

Luther Rice strengthened my belief regarding the infallibility and inerrancy of Scripture and the practicality of Scripture as it relates to life and human existence.  I continue to witness to the love of God in my life.  I continue to be humbled by the fact that He chose me to be a child of the King.

I’m a devoted family man who loves his wife of 49 years and spends endless hours fruitlessly trying to improve my golf game.

I continue to believe in Luther Rice College and Seminary, a unique school that has prepared men and women for Godly leadership for decades now.  I count it a great privilege to be a part of the faculty.
